Some of India's hottest regions see considerable variation in humidity levels apart from temperature. While parts of central and western Rajasthan have very low humidity levels and purely hot & dry weather throughout summer, conditions in neighboring Pakistan or coastal Gujarat tend to be more hot and humid due to proximity to the Arabian Sea, making the heat more oppressive.
